Close the compartment securely, then inspect the laser window, spirit levels, controls, rotating base, and outer casing for visible damage before use. 2. Position the Laser Level Place the laser level on a stable, reasonably level surface or suitable support at the required working height. Use the 360-degree rotatable positioning feature to aim the horizontal and vertical laser lines towards the required wall, floor, or working area. 3. Use Self-Leveling Mode Select self-leveling mode when you need automatically levelled horizontal and vertical reference lines. Position the tool within its permitted self-leveling range and allow the mechanism to settle before marking or aligning tiles, shelves, pictures, fittings, or other installation points. 4. Use Manual Mode Switch to manual mode when a fixed angled reference line is required rather than an automatically levelled line. Position the laser carefully at the desired angle and secure it against movement before using the projected lines as an alignment guide. 5.
